2023 – Q1

by Artifact International

Happy New Year! The new year always excites and invigorates me. It is a time we reflect on the past and make plans for the future. What plans do you have?

As you may know, I was on sabbatical during Q3 and Q4 of 2022. My time away from the day job was much needed and it gave me the time and space to concentrate on doing interesting work.

Highlights include my pop-up newsletter “30 Days in the Andes” and the progress I’ve made into editing and sequencing images from a specific experience within those 30 days. It’s not done, but I’m excited where the project is at and where it will end.

I published a more thorough end-of-year review for 2022 on my personal website. It would be redundant of me to write it out here too, so please check it out if this sort of thing interests you.

Anyway, dear friends, time to wrap up this quarterly update.

Looking ahead, Q2 of 2023 will see the launch of my photobook project (hopefully). And Q3/Q4 will see the fulfillment of that project. At least those are the big waypoints in the year ahead as I see them today.
